A
man who has at length found out something important to do will not have
to get a new suit to do it in. For him the old will do, lying dusty in
the garret for an indefinite period.
Old shoes will serve a hero longer than they have served his valet. Bare feet are the oldest of shoes, and he can make them do.
Only they who go to legislature and soirees - they must have new coats, coats to turn as often as the man turns in them.
