Dressing,
Clothing Care and Selection is the second volume in the Teaching
Research Curriculum for Handicapped Adolescents and Adults.
|
This
segment of the curriculum is a guide for parents, teachers and adult
service providers to essential and secondary dressing and clothing care
skills appropriate for moderately and severely handicapped adolescents
and adults. It provides detailed task analyzed programs for teaching
basic skills and serves as an objective-references assessment
instrument for training programs. |
The Dressing,
Clothing Care and Selection curriculum was developed and field tested
with input from many concerned teachers and service providers. The
curriculum provides terminal objectives, task analyzed skill sequences,
prerequisite skills, suggested materials, and teaching notes for each
of the skills.
