 To
study with a master, no matter what the art form, is to have touched
greatness. But such opportunities are always rare. Masters, by
definition, have perfected their artistry over the course of many
years. Consequently, their number is always few.
Imagine skating with an Olympic champion, taking a writing class from a
Pulitzer Prize winner, or going birdwatching with the likes of Roger
Tory Peterson.

craftspeople spend part of every year giving workshops at special arts
centers. These classes often take place on college campuses or in

travelers should diligently pursue, patiently await, and spontaneously
